How is Translution's Software licensed?

Translution Localization Manager is licensed on a monthly or annual basis.

A 10% disccount for these two products is available if you pay annually in advance.

Translution Machine Translation API, Translution Database Translator and Translution File Translator are licensed on an annual basis.

How do you charge for translation services?

Translation services are usually charged based on the number of source words we need to translate and the number of languages.

To ensure you get the most price competitive quote assemble all the documents that you wish to translate. This creates a project.

Translution examine the project (i.e. the collection of documents) and analyse the word counts.

Word counts are split into 3 — New words, 100% translation memory matches, repetitions.

Repetitions are sentences repeated in the project. We do not normally charge for these.

100% translation memory matches are sentences we have previously translated or sentences/phrases which are in your translation memory. Again, we do not normally charge for these.

In summary we normally only charge for the words in new sentences.

This can make us very competitive indeed.

Can I have an evaluation?

No. They are free and are for a standard 30 day period. They are full licenses. The only restriction is the number of machine translated words (5,000).

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes you can. Just send us an email. We will arrange for billing to stop. Your license will terminate when it is due for renewal.

Often our customers' requirements are unique; Translution is very experienced with putting together bespoke translation solutions geared to our customers' needs. What are your payment terms?

Because we offer the lowest prices of any reputable translation agency, this is the one area that we get quite tough on.

We simply cannot afford to fund your business!!

All software licenses are invoiced in advance and we normally expect the first payment before we send you an activation code.

Thereafter we send out either monthly or annual invoices. Annual invoices are sent 30 days in advance of the renewal date, monthly invoices every month. These invoices should be paid within 15 days — after which we start to send you polite reminders. If these invoices are not paid within 30 days, we will normally suspend your account.

For project work we normally expect 50% payment in advance, with the rest staged as agreed.

Translation services are normally invoiced on order and are payable within 15 days of delivery. The first translation project is normally payable in advance.

Payment can be made either to our Paypal accounts (we have 2 of these — 1 for US Dollars and the other for UK Pounds) via a credit card or direct from your own Paypal account if you have one. Alternatively you can pay by bank transfer either to our UK based US Dollar Account or to our UK Based GB Sterling account. Our Paypal account details and bank account details are on our invoices.
