Translution Business Troubleshooting

I sent a mail to a person from my Global Address List, but it did not get translated. What is the problem?

Please make sure that you are selecting the contact from the Outlook Address Book and not the Global Address List.

I sent a document for translation, but did not receive the translation.

In Microsoft Word you may have set a password to open your word document. You can check this by selecting Tools –> Options –> Security tab in Microsoft Word, If this is enabled, Translution Business will not be able to access the document in order to translate it. You must make sure the password feature is disabled before sending a document for translation.

1. Select the Translution toolbar from the list in the Toolbars option of the View menu at the top of the Internet Explorer Window.

2. From same menu, uncheck the Lock the toolbars option if not already unchecked.

I have entered a term into the dictionary but they are not being used in my translations. What should I do?

Check that the dictionary has been compiled correctly by taking the following steps:

1. Open up Translution Dictionary Manager (TDM) from Start – All Programs Menu.

2. Enter your email address and password to start TDM (default password is password).

3. Select the Compilations option from the Utilities menu at the top of the TDM screen.

4. Select the View Logs option from the Compilations menu, and check that the latest dictionary has been compiled successfully and downloaded.

5. If the latest dictionary has not been compiled, then compile it by selecting the Compile Dictionary option from the Compilations menu. Then press the Compile button. Compilation of the dictionary may take some time, but you can view progress via the View Logs option from the Compilations menu.

Finally, if your dictionary entry is still not being used within your email or document translations then there may be a problem with the dictionary entry itself. Please check the source and target language text, and their associated linguistic properties, for mistakes. Make any necessary changes and re-compile the dictionary.
